It supports our body’s internal clock and circadian rhythm, which regulates every essential function in our body. Today’s artificial lighting is absolutely determinantal to our health and wellbeing. LED lights and fluorescent lights emit harmful blue light, whilst being constantly under artificial lighting is disruptive to our body’s natural biorhythms. Blue light and artificial light are especially harmful to us when they are emitted at inappropriate times that don’t coincide with nature, such as after sunset and during the evening. Your solution? How to Integrate Circadian Lighting into Your Life

To live more circadian friendly aligned, we need to try and mimic what’s happening outside, inside. This means when the sun isn’t up yet or when the sun has set, we should be keeping the artificial lights and LED lights off and down too. Here are some ideas for throughout your day…

Morning Routine
